This medicine has been prescribed for you for relief from severe pain, particularly pain associated with cancer, over a period of 12 hours thanks to its special slow-release form. It contains morphine which belongs to a class of medicines called opioids, which are ‘pain relievers’. This medicine has been prescribed/provided to you and should not be given to anyone else.
